Golden Goose Picks -- GGVDS is here
Introducing the Golden Goose Volatility Divergence Score (GGVDS)
Starting today, all Golden Goose Picks will include a new environmental indicator called the Golden Goose Volatility Divergence Score (GGVDS). This score measures the overall stability of the market environment and determines whether conditions are suitable for new entries — even if a stock is behaviorally declared Safe & Ready.
The GGVDS ranges from 0 to 5, and you’ll see it displayed at the top of every post using our new Egg Meter:
🪺 = 0 (Very Unsafe)
🥚 to 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚 = 1–5 (Increasingly Safe)
Going forward, this score will guide how we approach entries:
Scores 4–5: Environment is stable — entries permitted
Score 3: Neutral — watch, but do not enter
Scores 0–2: Unstable — no entries
This addition doesn’t change the Golden Goose method — it strengthens it.
The GGVDS gives us a clearer read on market behavior and helps ensure we only take trades when the environment supports them.
the GGVDS gives you the immediate behavioral truth
the VIX test gives you the multi‑day volatility drift
SAFE & READY gives you the stock‑level behavior
and our entry rules give you the discipline
You’ll see this score included in every daily recoil list from here on out. The new GGVDS score, combined with our existing VIX checks, will give us the confidence and clarity we need to feel truly Safe & Ready before entering the markets.
